We ("Yoga Joint," "we," "us," or "our") created this Privacy Policy because we know that you care about how information you provide to us is used and shared. This Privacy Policy relates to the information collection and use practices of Yoga Joint in connection with our services (the "Services"), made available to you through our yoga studio Locations and online (the "Site").
By visiting our Location or Site and/or using our Services, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
What Information We Collect
Personal Information
We do not collect any personal information from you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. When you sign up to become a customer at a Location or through the Site, you will be asked to provide certain personal information, such as your first name, last name, email address, date of birth, mobile telephone number, SMS opt-in consent status and timestamp, emergency contact information, and class booking history. We refer to this collectively as "Personal Information."
Payment Information
Payment information (credit card data, billing address) is collected and processed by our PCI-compliant third-party payment processor and is not stored on our servers.
Usage Information
We automatically collect technical information when you visit the Site, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referral source and timestamps.
How We Use Your Information
We use Personal Information to:
- Identify you when you sign in to your account;
- Provide, maintain and improve the Services;
- Process bookings, memberships and payments;
- Send transactional notifications (booking confirmations, account changes, class reminders) via email and, if you have opted in, SMS;
- Send promotional communications (offers, events, studio news) only if you have opted in;
- Analyze usage to improve the Services and personalize content;
- Investigate, prevent and address fraud, abuse or security incidents;
- Comply with legal obligations.
SMS Opt-In Details
Mobile phone numbers are collected only when you voluntarily submit one of our forms (waitlist, founders rate, first class free, first week free, kickoff RSVP, event check-in or quiz). SMS consent is given only by checking one or both of the optional SMS opt-in boxes presented at the time of submission: one for non-marketing messages (booking confirmations, account notifications, class reminders) and one for marketing messages (offers, events, studio news). The boxes are not pre-checked and are not required to submit the form. SMS consent is never bundled into form submission, the Terms of Service, or any purchase. You can submit any form, accept our Terms of Service and purchase any service without opting in to SMS.
Message types: Non-marketing (booking confirmations, account notifications, class reminders) and Marketing (offers, events, studio news).
Message frequency: Varies based on your activity. Typically fewer than 10 messages per month.
Message & data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Yoga Joint is not responsible for carrier-imposed fees.
Carrier liability: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance. You may also email delray@yogajoint.com to be removed.
No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Data
No mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support of the services we provide (for example, SMS delivery providers acting on our behalf) is limited strictly to what is necessary to deliver the messages you have requested. Mobile opt-in data is never sold, rented or transferred to outside parties for any purpose.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies on the Site to operate, secure and improve the Services. These include first-party cookies for session and preference management, and third-party tools such as Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for marketing attribution and product analytics.

Data Security Practices

Payment information is processed by PCI-compliant third-party processors and is not stored on our servers.
We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not disclose Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers who perform business functions on our behalf (hosting, payment processing, SMS delivery, email delivery, analytics) under contracts that limit their use of the data to those functions.
